Measurement Guide

Bust Measurement -
Measure the bust line at the fullest part of your chest. Stand straight and natural with your feet together and your arms at your sides. Place the tape measure so that it covers the widest part of your back the and the fullest part of your bust.

Waist Measurement -
To find your natural waistline, bend to one side and place your finger at the deepest wrinkle. Stand up straight and place the tape measure at your finger, which will be your natural waistline (about 2 inches above your navel; not necessarily where your jeans would fit). Do not pull the tape too tight.

Hip Measurement -
Stand straight and natural with your feet together and arms down at your side. Position the measuring tape around the fullest part of your hips, including your buttocks. Do not pull the tape too tight.

Hollow to Hem -
refers to the measurement from the depression at the base of the neck just above the collarbone, to the hem.

Please note: These guidelines are for reference only. Ultimate Fashions cannot be responsible for the accuracy of any measurements taken by the customer, or the size ordered.

We recommend having someone, other than yourself take your measurements, and highly suggest that you be measured wearing the exact undergarments and shoes that you will be wearing the day of the event.

Measurements should be taken with a cloth tape measure (or string), pulled snug, but not too tight, standing straight and tall (unless otherwise noted).

Each manufacturer's line is cut to a standard measurement, according to their own size chart, and can then be altered to fit you. Please measure carefully and always choose the largest size based on your measurements and the size chart. Dresses can almost always be taken in to fit you, but letting dresses out is more difficult and costly.

Please remember that minimal alterations, like hem and strap adjustments, are to be expected and that most dresses will require some alterations to obtain that perfect fit.
